Something I love: When you get so attached to a plot that the moment it ends - you don't know what to do with your life, with yourself. It feels like there is no purpose in your life anymore. In that moment you realize how terribly attached to that world you are. The same thing goes for characters. When a character dies (and you are attached to them), and you feel as though the world has fallen out from beneath your feet. You don't know how much you loved the character until you feel the tears streaming down your face. It is incredible that an author can make you feel that way, just with delicately placed words. The story weaves itself around you until you are part of it - and when it ends, when characters die - part of you is ripped away too. It is both beautiful and horrible at the same time. It thrills me.
