The book was going so good what happened to the writer

So let me tell you something that I saw a video of. So a black guys called the police station to help him bc his son was having an episode. So the cop came and shot the neighbor and the kid dead. And then after that while the families where going through a tough time while dealing through the losses. THIS GOD DAMN POLICE OFFICER IS TRYING TO SUE THE FAMILY 10 MILLIONS DOLLARS FOR BEING SAD OR SOMETHING. I'm just very pissed
