Hi. I’m bored. So here’s a shower thought that’s been bothering me all week. In the MCU, during the snap and when came back, at what age did people really count as living—like, would babies still in the womb be able to dust and the mother wouldn’t, or the other way around??? So there was just dust inside of the mother… and then the baby just reappeared? Lying dead wherever they dusted?
And what if someone was somewhere where another person was?? Which is veryyy likely? Would the molecules be packed super close together and they’d both die???
Also, along with that, what would happen if someone reappeared inside a wall or something? Or in the water? Or, wait, even THE AIR is still something that takes up space, and it couldn’t just magically disappear when something else appeared in the same space as it. Maybe the air just moved out of the way super quickly, causing billions of tiny shockwaves all over earth. Unless it did (magically disappear). Because… magic.
I also wonder what the ‘dust’ everyone turned into was made out of. Because there are A LOT of people on earth (and other planets) so was there just suddenly more of a certain element on earth??? Was the dust just eventually mixed in with the soil? If the dust was just broken down bodies, five years later, ecosystems could’ve absorbed billions of tons of extra carbon, calcium, phosphorus, etc. into soil, oceans, and other organisms. Then the reverse snap ripped all that matter back out of the environment to rebuild people, meaning parts of plants, animals, and soil might have just disappeared to pay the cost of bringing everyone back
