"Depression is a flaw in chemistry, not character." - Unknown

It's not cute. It's not funny. Mental illness does not discriminate; 1 in 5 people in Canada and the USA suffer from depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, OCD, bipolar disorder, or one of too many more.

At @ChemNotCharacter, we seek to curate stories that not only represent mental illnesses but do justice to people suffering from them every day. We work to create a safe place for you to share your stories, opinions and ideas. And we strive to shed light on the grim reality of too many people and incite a movement to stop the stigma that extends even as far as the Canadian and American health care systems.

At the tag #chemnotcharacter to your stories or profile to show your support and spread the word!
