I’ve been a reader since Psycho was ongoing and since Limerence started, and honestly, I’ve never felt that you were directing the story in a way that was wrong. Of course, there were moments when I thought, “Hmm… why? Or “I want to just kill”” :)) but eventually everything made sense, and I genuinely loved seeing the growth in Seungcheol and Mina’s personalities.
Psycho was definitely a book that made me angry at times, especially because of how ruthless the male lead was. There was so much conflict, and I completely understand why people had strong feelings about it. But even when Psycho ended, I never found myself thinking that Mina needed revenge or that the story had to go in that direction. If anything, I think somewhere in the back of my mind, I always wanted the kind of story and emotional journey that Limerence is giving us now, ((only because it was a fanfic and I had a little soft spot..umm that would paint a wrong view but Iykyk))
And I think that’s what people sometimes forget — it’s a story. You’re allowed to explore complicated characters, difficult situations and different perspectives without it automatically meaning that you’re endorsing everything happening in the story. To me, you’ve handled that beautifully. There’s been growth, consequences, perspectives changing, and characters becoming better versions of themselves. I don’t see the point in directing hate toward you for telling the story you wanted to tell.
You’re genuinely such a good author, and I really love the way you write. This is the first book..I’ve ever been this deeply invested in on wattpad, and I think that says a lot.
And honestly… I DON’T WANT LIMERENCE TO END. I’m not ready to let these characters go after being here since Psycho. ❤️
