Because I have plans to complete THE SEMIFREDDO INQUISITION, I made my own sticker for my cover.  :)  It's a reminder to never stop writing because we're writers and that's what we do. We tell stories. We create worlds. We introduce characters.
          
          If you want the sticker for your cover, I am more than happy to share! Just reach out to me on Insta @chessajandersen. Just because we're not moving on to Round Two doesn't mean people aren't interested in reading our stories or we should stop writing (NEVER STOP WRITING).

Even though I didn't make it past the first round of the ONC (still kinda shocking), I feel like I'm in good company as other more amazing writers also didn't make the cut. I think what bothers me the most is being cut without a specific reason ... was the prompt not featured enough? Did I use the word "a$$" too much?
          
          Thank you to everyone for their support and encouragement. Rest assured, I will complete The Semifreddo Inquisition because I love the story, and it's almost finished anyway (well, at least in my head).

@chessaandersen You’re very welcome! And I meant  grammar and storytelling couldn’t have been the reason you were cut. I’ve read your books and absolutely loved them. But anyway, I’m here to support you guys. Writing Isn’t easy so we should take these milestones and as you said ‘Keep writing!’ No bias here, but I’m liking your stickers a lot! Keep doing what you’re doing, love!

@stuck_in_the__clouds Awwww. Thank you so much for the kind words, I really truly appreciate them. If grammar and storytelling weren't part of the criteria for the first round I feel terrible for some of the writers who went beyond to make sure their first chapter was perfect.
