I am SOOOOOOOOO FRUSTRATED and DISAPPOINTED. Like… why, PEOPLE???
I just saw some stories that were completely made by AI — 100% AI-generated, even the book covers. Honestly, it feels so messed up.
As someone who has been writing for almost ten FREAKING years, this frustrates me so much. I’m not a journalist, and my bachelor’s degree has nothing to do with writing, but writing has always been my passion. I spent years reading countless books just to improve my spelling, grammar, and understanding of punctuation. I worked hard to learn how to write properly.
Meanwhile, there are now people asking AI to create entire stories for them in just a minute.
While me? I still have to do a lot of things, go outside, observe the world, and search for inspiration just to write ONE chapter.
And then I find out that some so-called “writers” are already relying heavily on AI to do the writing for them.
I use AI too, especially for photos, so I’m not completely against it. But when it comes to storytelling and writing — something that should come from creativity, emotions, experiences, and imagination — it honestly feels FRUSTRATING to see people depend entirely on AI for it.
To my fellow writers: go write some fucked-up stories!!! Write stories that are grammatically incorrect, cringe, cliché — whatever!!! Make mistakes. Improve. Be HUMAN.
Be a writer who grows and learns, not a writer who relies heavily on AI!!!!
