Why does one write when ones words simply go unheard

In the exploration of the human nature does one lose a part of what makes them human too.

A thought on character deaths and separation: when characters die or separate you know you'll always be able to go back and find a chapter to read. When you separate from people though sometimes you just happen to lose all contact and all that's left are just memories and heartache
