I'm a turtle. 
You are a turtle.
Everyone is a turtle. 
Turtles are like people. 
They're small and can easily be stepped on. 
They have a shell they can use to protect them, but most don't use it. 
They keep saying, 'I'm strong' or 'I can do this'. But I know, really deep inside-that they're  afraid. 
Afraid to get lost at sea. 
Afraid to drown. 
And most importantly, afraid of the scary creatures wanting to crush and eat them.
Cause' deep inside their afraid.
They're crying
They're dying
They're just waiting and waiting for someone to lend a hand
For we are turtles.
We are able to live for hundreds of years.
Alone in the dark. Not able to see the people who care and can only see the people who judge and call them names, because we are blind.
We walk our paths individually, having hope that we will see our loved ones at the end of it.
And sadly, that hope is crushed. The hope you've held on for so long.......perishes. You had it a while a go, and now 'poof'. Like trust, it is gone in seconds.
For we are turtles
Even if we have gone through a lot, we remain standing .
We remain patient as we slowly walk towards our dreams.
These dreams may be for ourselves or for the ones we love.
But as long as we have these dreams we will take the punches life throws at us.
Cause I am a turtle
Cause you are a turtle
Cause everyone is a turtle
We swim aimlessly in the sea. 
We swim cause we are free.
We love and are loved.
We live and die.
Til time ends, we are turtles.
We are strong.
