Hello darlings?
I hope you are enjoying my story?
This is not just your average African story. It is a story that talks about the resilient African spirit. It talks about the African people's ability to withstand and overcome every obstacle that comes their way.
I'm sure you might be wondering, the names in the story, where do they come from?
They are Igbo names. I'm Igbo and the Igbo people are the inhabitants of Southeast Nigeria. So, it's more convenient or let's say, conventional, to use Igbo names.
Also, understand that this story is set in an imaginary country in West Africa. Using Igbo names like Okwudili, Adaife or Nkemjika and Igbo towns like Umuaga and Mgbidi does not necessarily mean that this story is talking about the Igbo people. Shattered Dreams,as the name connotes, is a story that talks about the struggles and hope of the African people to be free from any external manipulation, whatsoever.
Meanwhile, I am working on chapter four. And I am sure you will like it.
I still remain Chidera Onuoha. I am the ink that never runs dry. But you can call me #africanstoryteller001.
