Wow, that's great praise. There are a lot of fans of historical fiction. Enthusiastic as well. When I began writing it, I wondered how a female who was constantly challenged by men in some dumb ways, would be accepted. Guess it has been fun for them as it was for me writing it. Maybe that's a good barometer.  I also broke some rules along the way as to 'how' they say you have to write. Those rules couldn't work for a book like this so I threw most of them out. It amazed me how many tried to get me to change it. Glad I stuck to my gut instinct. Because it has worked. No one has been confused with all the characters and that was my challenge. Guess it goes to show, rules are meant to be broken.

@SueHart2 Hey, you deserve the credit here - I can't comprehend how your book isn't breaking the boundaries of Wattpad, it's BRILLIANT. Beautifully written and a genuinely interesting take on the events of the midwest during the 1800's.
