T. Naomie Lucas, Author & Creator of The Chocolate Cake Club
Naomie currently serves as a marketing strategist and business consultant to corporations, government agencies, non-profit organizations and faith-based community organizations nationally and internationally. Her core competencies include the creation and development of fund acquisition campaigns, marketing campaigns, new market acquisition, project management of client websites, script writing for national and international television broadcasts, performance of 3 to 4 year operational audits and development and implementation of policy and procedures.
Though very comfortable in the Boardroom, Naomie quickly realized that her years of corporate experience in no way prepared her for the dating landscape she now had to maneuver after being away for more than a decade. After ten years of marriage, Naomie found that she was not only single but also intimated and at times, lonely. To cope with these new found fears of the unknown, she created the Chocolate Cake Club as her survival therapy from the mentally and physically abusive relationship she courageously left behind.
Through the creation of The Chocolate Cake Club, Naomie wants other women and men to know they are not alone in their struggle to either “Take the Chocolate Cake” or to “Fight for Love”. She also desires them to know that there are no easy answers to the issues of love. However, there are emotional relationship roller coasters we must remove ourselves from if we are to fulfill our ultimate life potential and goals. In the end, she hopes the Chocolate Cake Club will help countless people, much like herself; settle The Great Cake Debate once and for all. She has authored the book, “The Chocolate Cake Club presents “The Great Cake Debate –
Should I Take the Chocolate Cake or Should I Fight for Love?
Currently, Naomie lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with her two greatest inspirations, her children, Jonathan and Sarafina.
