(quick rant) no hate to sakura, all the hate to hybe, but how did they choose sakura’s “future potential” when ayana already surpassed that skill level? on top of that, sakura doesn’t really fit the concept. she’ll be sixteen debuting with 20 year olds. how will they work with sakura when doing mature concepts? will they gradually make her more suggestive so that the second she turns eighteen the transition will hardly be noticeable?
          
          i really dislike how the industry continuously puts visuals (and minors) above talent. what happened to debuting idols who demonstrate the most skill and hard work? that aside, it’s also unfair to debut someone who doesn’t fit concepts, meet expectations, or isn’t at the same level as their group mates. that’s setting them and their group up for so much hate.
