You shouldn’t try to make ur straight friends happy if they want u to create something that is lesbian erasure then u should stop being friends with them bc guess what they are bad ppl who are automatically homophobic for the fact they don’t care enough about how lesbians would feel if someone were to ignore the fact that a canon lesbian character is straight. They are also shitty friends if they made YOU do it just so u could be the one facing backlash, if they wanted to something like that they they should learn how to write and do it themself. This isn’t an excuse to make a straight ellie fanfic and you should just delete it since there are so many lesbians upset about it and it makes much more sense to listen to gay ppl when they say they is offended by something and not to listen to non gay ppl telling u its fine to do ANY type of queer erasure
