            If you do decide to check out MTMTE you might get a bit bored at first (like Prime) but PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE trust me when I say that things get better. Hell yeah. They get so much better and SO MUCH MORE… I don’t know, entertaining?! Entertaining is literally an understatement!
            
            The Scavengers (Misfire, Fulcrum, Crankcase, Spinister, Krok, and idk if they’re should also be called The Scavs but Grimlock (yes, him) and Nickel are also part of the family) are my favorite group. Just read the comics and… who knows? Maybe they’re also gonna make an impact on you. Maybe not an impact. That’s kind of exaggerated. Anyways.
            
            I genuinely don’t know what to say about MTMTE and Lost Light. I LOVE it so much I feel overwhelmed by just typing all this LOL!!
            
            Do be careful on which character you get attached to because there’s a chance they’re gonna end up dying… Just a warning. Coming from a person with experience teehee
            
            Also the villains are so perfectly written (great examples are Sunder, Pharma, Overlord and Getaway)!! They’re like… SO, SO bad you’re most probably gonna end up hating em
            
            Anyways uh that’s all. For now. I guess. Maybe. Probably. Not certainly.

            OMG I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT THE IDW COMICS LOL!! 
            
            Okay. I genuinely LOVE IDW TF because EVERYTHING IS PEAK!!
            
            I’d 10000010101010% recommend reading it. Although I highly doubt you’re a book person so probably just check out MTMTE/More Than Meets The Eye and its sequel, Lost Light.
            
            What Roberts (the writer/author/whatever you call him) does better than almost anyone else in Transformers is character work. Instead of treating the Autobots and Decepticons as simple factions, he writes them as people with histories, regrets, insecurities, and very specific voices. The crew of the Lost Light doesn’t feel like a roster—it feels like a dysfunctional found family. Characters like Rodimus, Rewind, Chromedome, and even Megatron aren’t just “types”; they evolve in ways that feel earned, messy, and sometimes painfully real.
            
            One of the biggest strengths of MTMTE/Lost Light is how it balances tone. It’s genuinely funny!! Like, laugh-out-loud funny in a way you wouldn’t expect from Transformers—but it never undercuts the emotional weight. 
            Roberts can pivot from a ridiculous gag that would have you chuckling to yourself to something ABSOLUTELY DEVASTATING in a few pages, and somehow it works. (Perfect example is MTMTE issues #14-#15. When Fort Max was fighting Overlord I was like, “YESSSS!! HE’S FINALLY GETTING A TASTE OF HIS OWN MEDICINE!! GO MAX GO!!!” (that was an understatement I was screaming. Again.) to “OH MY FRAGGING GOSH REWIND NO REWIND NO WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS. OH SCRAP IS HE— CHROMEDOME NO. OH.” then I started crying like crazy. I’m derailing here so ANYWAYS)  
            
            When things get serious, they stay serious. Like… the stakes feel real, especially when the story digs into themes like identity (like everyone trying to find out who they really are without The War), memory, guilt (great example is Deadlock/Drift) , and… what it means to change after a war. I just said that twice LOL.

            Tbh if you’re not really… I don’t know how to say it… ‘enjoying’ the show? You don’t have to force yourself to watch it anymore.
            Maybe just watch one more episode, see if you like it, and if you do, continue Prime.
            
            If you’re still stuck around halfway season 1, maybe you can skip some episodes! Check out the season finale, it’s SOO ENGAGING, SO PEAK!! I tell you (episodes 24-26)!! I’m not spoiling anything but it genuinely gets so interesting you’d most probably end up on the edge of your seat while watching. (I was screaming during the finale )
            
            If you want to see more Cliffjumper, watch season 2, episode 17 (Out of the Past)— he appears in a flashback with Arcee. If I’m not mistaken the episode also foreshadows Shockwave’s appearance in season 3.
            
            If you really aren’t that interested in Prime anymore, you could also check out Animated (TRUST ME. Trust me. The tone is extremely light at first, but when you ACTUALLY get in the show the writing and story get surprisingly dark and deep. The characters also have great development arcs, and they’re also really unique and lovable. Sentinel is a total jerk though but I love him  The show’s like an anime but nobody is and speaks Japanese).

            To be honest, the canon ships are the best things ever. (Read my yapping. Please.)
            
            Dratchet (my OTP . Two of my top favorite characters, being Conjunx Endura?? Hell yeah!! Ratchet lived a good life.)
            
            Cygate (lowkey this makes me sad, considering what happened to Tailgate. He didn’t deserve such a fate- at all. Poor guy. He and Cyclonus compliment each other really well), 
            
            Rewindedome (Chromedome x Rewind, this ship is the epitome of true love), and
            
            Ratchjack/Wheelratch (Prime versions. They have so much chemistry. This ship in any continuity isn’t canon, though ) are some of my favorites.
            
            They also have ‘yuri’, like Anodlug (Anode x Lug) and Aircee/Ailercee (Arcee x Aileron). These ships are great, too!
            
            I don’t mean to sound rude, but I don’t support MegOp. Even in Earthspark, I see them as close friends/partners (not that kind), not a couple. 
            Why does OpBee even exist??? Optimus is like a father figure to Bee, literally the last thing a (sane) Transformers fan would ever want is these two getting shipped. I’m sane. Don’t worry.

            Watch Transformers Prime. Oh my gosh. You’re going to LOVE it.
            It’s one of the best Transformers shows out there- if not THE best.
            The writers perfectly knew how to balance lighthearted, funny moments, with those scenes that would just make you hold your breath and/or scream “I HATE YOU, MEGATRON!!”, “OPTIMUS, NOOO!!”, “NO WAY, THAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED TO BUMBLEBEE?”, “OH MY GOSH WHY THE FRAG ARE THEY SO DUMB??”, “LOWKEY HE’S KINDA HOT”, etc.
            You can watch all the episodes on the official Transformers channel on YouTube, along with the movie, which you should ONLY check out after finishing the show.
