Ahhh! All revised chapters of "The Spring I Met You" have been published. Taking a quick hiatus before I start revising the second book, "The Summer I Won't Forget." I hope to get that one done by this summer.
If you're looking for a coming-of-age, slice-of-life, slow-burning new adult romance, I've got one for you: https://www.wattpad.com/story/316921240-the-spring-i-met-you

@SnowWhite249172 Thank you so much for tuning in Raven!! Their slow burn is NOT for everyone so I'm happy that you like it :)

@chroniclesoftatiana Congratulations!!! That's so exciting, I can't wait to read the final chapters sometime today. Looking forward to the second book. I love the story and Zoe and Kaito so much.

ICMYI: You All Over Me's paperback price dropped after I decreased the font size. If you purchased it at the previous price, send me a dm (my socials are in the carrd link in my bio) with the purchase date and location. I'll send you a free epub :)
Meanwhile... I've got ten chapters left in the first book of the Tokyo Series. I'll aim to finish this ASAP so I can start with the second book. :)

“But it makes you appreciate it more, right? Those fleeting special things… they tend to last longer in our memories.”
Zoe glances at Kaito, drinking him in, as everything that has happened—their first meeting, the hanami, Naoki’s birthday—braids itself together, the details engraved in her mind and heart.
“Guess so. Perhaps a part of why we treasure them so much is because we know they won’t last.” She drops her gaze, then adds solemnly, “Like this exchange program.”
“Like this moment.”

Kaito should stop talking. It’s unlike him to go off on a tangent, acting all philosophical. However, with Zoe, he feels a kind of connection he’s never felt for anyone else. It feels natural. They can’t be more different, like night and day, but she looks at him as though he could lay bare his soul, reveal every layer, and instead of deciding if he’s worthy, she’d sit with him, take his hand, hold him close.

Ten revised chapters in... Should be done with posting everything before January ends, then I'll revise the second book in silence (again). I don't think I'll be able to write a new work without rewriting this series, unfortunately!! Esp since I have not decided on the next work.
Hope everyone's having a great week so far...

He's what Elle would call hot.
He's what Zoe would call hard to read.

I've caved and used the old chaps, accepting that I'm losing 60-70% of old inline comments. Sighs. Anyway, I have posted five revised chapters of The Spring I Met You (Book One).
A quick blurb for the series:
Set against the beauty of Tokyo, this New Adult slow-burn, coming-of-age romance explores independence, longing, and human connection, and how choosing oneself can be the bravest act of all.
Bottom line is, it's not for everyone, and this is more of a personal project for me than anything else. But if you're looking for something a lil bit soothing and meaningful in this cold winter...

"It’s only been a day since he put his walls back up, a single day that has troubled him to no end. He misses talking to Zoe. Misses listening to her voice, the way it rises when she’s thrilled, the way it drops when she’s unsure. Misses the way the light shines on her face, the way her teeth sink into her lip when she’s thinking hard… He misses even the crinkling of her nose.
He’d downplay it every time he felt it, more willing to surrender to his friends’ accusation that he’s assuming the role of an onii-san. If not—no, he can’t consider that it’s not that.
And needless to say, he was put to the test. "
- Kaito, a YEARNER (as usual), excerpt from revised Ch 16.

Hello, hello.
I have posted the prologue of the first book of the Tokyo Series, my only new adult, coming-of-age, contemporary romance (and my SLOWEST slow burn). I am not gonna lie; it's taken a lot of me to revise this work, and I'm still on the fence about posting the revised chapters because the inline comments will all be gone. Idk if it's worth it, man. I just wanted to share what I've been doing.
Hope everyone's been doing well. I've recently recovered from this super flu going around...
