Chukwunweolu Okoro, also known as Okoro the Poet, was born on May 19, 2006, in Ubolu, Asaba, Delta State, to the family of the late Okoro John and Mrs. Okoro Nnenna from Uhueze Mbom Amanato, Isu Onicha Local Government Area, Ebonyi State. He later relocated with his family to Umuabi in Enugu State, where he attended Community Primary School Abaozor Umuabi from 2008 to 2018. Chukwunweolu then attended Community Comprehensive Secondary School Obinagu from 2018 to 2021. In 2021, he relocated to Port Harcourt and attended Community Secondary School Nkpolu Oroworokwo from 2021 to 2025, where he obtained his secondary school certification.
Chukwunweolu began his writing journey on November 1, 2019, with his first novel, "Down Fall of a Great King." He has since authored several books, including "In Love with the Gate Man," "Do or Die Affairs," "Deserted Forest," "Separated Bloods," "Painting a Bad Picture of Me," and two poetry collections: "Life Tapestry" and "A Life in Verse." Chukwunweolu's goal is to end bad governance in his country and impact lives through his writing. As he once said in one of his poems, "A life with no impact is worthless, it's better you don't live.
