Lena Aisha is a Nigerian poet and filmmaker. Her first published work, Bones Of Eden, was released in February 2016 and drew influences from elements of Romanticism, combining poetry, personal reflections and two unfinished novels to create a time capsule that allows the reader to see the world through her eyes. She attributes most of her artistic influences not only to fellow writers Rumi, Ralph Waldo Emerson and Kahlil Gibran, but also to the philosophers Alan Watts and Osho. She is currently studying Law at an undergraduate level in England, but continues to explore other artistic mediums through her blog Ciao Lena and YouTube channel. Her debut novel The Desert Beneath Moaz is scheduled for release in early 2017.
