first of all, i understand that we all have different preferences when it comes to the stories we read. i completely get that some of you might have wanted certain things to happen, or certain characters to end up together. i also understand your disappointment, especially when the characters you got attached to didn’t receive the ending you hoped for. trust me, that feeling is valid because it only shows how deeply you connected with the story and its characters.
wala po akong problema kung i-express niyo ang disappointment niyo kasi hindi nagkatuluyan ‘yung ship niyo, but still, i hope we can all remain respectful with our words. expressing disappointment is fine, but let’s avoid saying things that might sound hurtful or dismissive.
as the writer, i truly know my characters po. their flaws, their growth, and what kind of ending they deserve. every choice in the story has meaning, even if it’s not the one everyone expected. i poured my heart into creating them and their journeys, and i hope that even if their paths didn’t align with what you wished for, you’ll still appreciate the message and the love that went into their story.
because in the end, stories are meant to make us feel—and it’s beautiful that they did. so let’s keep that connection alive, but let’s also keep kindness at the heart of our conversations.
