i said i was inactive but i just need to address the "let's go back to the 50s" trend. 
          
          we did not spend years protesting and lose thousands of lgbtq or poc for people to say “i wish it was the 50s i was born in the wrong generation ”
          
          the 50s would only be fun if you were a straight white male. nobody treated women better. they respected them only when there was food on the table. gays were burned and beaten. pocs weren’t allowed to exist. 
          
          women weren’t any more attractive than they are now, boys are just mad because they have to cook for themselves.
          
          it’s fine to like the music and aesthetic of past times, but on all those pictures of an old diner which say “i wish it was the 50s”, remember the amount of people who would be burned or killed and go get a milkshake or something.

ok i never actually write stories but I HAVE INSPIRATION!!
          
          what do we think about a book about kids growing up in a world of superheros and villains?? i'm thinking character development, teen issues, and sort of tongue in cheek statements about the government. it'll probably be a series if i'm bothered so we might get into more fun stuff and possibly romance later on (i say that but i'm too terrified to write anything more than holding hands)
          
          if that sounds up your alley or someone you know might like it, please check it out when i post the first chapter this weekend!! i tend to run out of inspiration to write books but if people were enjoying it i might actually be able to finish a novel for once hehe 
          
          also give me ideas for characters or stuff in the replies :)
