I’ve literally been writing on the same story for 3 years and I’m still not done.

Ok so I deleted "Thundering Rain" because I found absolutely no motivation to ever update it again. The story just died for me. I'm sorry for the people that really liked it but as the writer, I just found it harder and harder to update because I wasn't inspired with that story. But I have a couple things in the works and I want to wait to post anything until I get pretty far in how many chapters I have so even when I'm not inspired, I'll have a chapter I'd already written ready to post. Lol I suck, I know :)

@Nyctophilia123_ this exact thing happened to me. Now I won't post my next story until I have everything done and I'm happy with it. I just felt the need to let you know that there are more people in the same situation, hopefully that makes you feel better :)
