I’m sorry that this is late but when I originally wrote this story I made the ending that another diary was found, his, and he had to leave her because someone threatened to kill his family if he didn’t give them a certain amount of money. He didn’t have enough money so he had to leave to try and stop these people from finding out who his wife was. (He even left her the knife that she in the end kills herself with for protecting herself) I later decided that it was better left to the readers imagination and deleted that section of the book but I might add it as an extra optional ending ? I’m not sure yet
