@clarytheshadowhunter I am cutting down he first chapter to just that day and the funeral.

The first chapter of Blink and Everything's Gone is going to take a while at the pace I'm going. The first chapter is going to include a lot of material though. It will include the day my parents died, when I get to my new house, the funeral, and a lot of background information. Keep an eye out for it.
