@_ana_stasiaaa I haven’t really read on here for a while so the ones I liked are on my reading lists. I tend to read a lot of mysteries/ thrillers on my kindle nowadays. My favourite book ever is bright young women by Jessica knoll <<33

Heyyy guys!!
I’ve just posted the edited and brand new version of Chapter One, which includes a never before published scene!
It takes place a year before Charlie becomes a Lakewood, at a house party where a tragedy occurs…
I knew I needed to share this version eventually because I honestly could not even look at the old one anymore. I didn’t really edit as I was writing back then, and I definitely paid for it. The final draft ended up being over 200k words, which is way too long for a book like Sidelines.
Thank you so much to everyone who stuck with it and read all those words and scenes. While some of the cut scenes were fun to write and read, I have realised they do not all need to be in the final version and they definitely would not survive a publisher anyway. I write for fun, but editing is something I really struggle with because I am so indecisive.
The next chapter will be out next Friday, and I am going to try my best to stick to that schedule again. It’s not like I am writing a whole new book or anything…

Just curious about the 200k words thing. are you making the book the same length as before or are you making it shorter? Still love the book either way
