thank the gods, they didn’t have this place when i was younger. i would’ve gotten lost in here. (…) do you know who i can talk to about giving some grimoires of mine away?

@wiccaanways ∕ this place is kind of like the tardis—- bigger on the inside, otherworldly, et cetera. [she leans against the desk, resting her forearms against the mahogany.] yep, i’m the girl for that. we do have a donation bin unless you would like compensation for them, which we can work that out.

" you don’t need to give me that look ( … ) see i’m standing right where i was before. "

" Surprised ? " [ An amused, low hum vibrates softly in his chest as he stays completely rooted in place, watching her fingers trace down his sleeve. His dark eyes narrow just slightly, a lazy, fond tilt of his head accompanying the faint, amused smirk tugging at the side of his lips. He doesn't pull away from her touch, maintaining his calm, grounded presence while his gaze shifts down toward her lips. ] " So you didn't miss me, you just missed taking advantage of my soft spot for you, " [ he murmurs, his tone laced with a smooth, teasing warmth. ] " You always did push your luck around here ( ... ) but lucky for you, I'm feeling generous tonight. So go on — what else are you planning to get away with ? "

@crimsonhour,
             ⠀⠀⠀ “i don’t. never have, likely never will.” she offers a low, pleased hum as she continues to step forward. she only stops when she stands a few inches away from him, and her fingers move to brush something non-existent off his shirt. “you want the truth?” she moves her fingers down his sleeve, as if continuing her bit of brushing something off. there was nothing there, it’s just an excuse to be close. “i kind of missed you too, jasper, but i think that i mostly missed seeing what you let me get away with.” clearly, it was still a lot. then again, he has let her sit on his counters before. “oh, don’t look so surprised. it’s not all that shocking, is it?”

" Rules ? Since when did you start caring about what we're supposed to be ? " [ A low, genuine chuckle hums in his chest as he watches her mirror his head tilt. His eyes crinkle slightly at the corners, a soft, fond expression breaking across his features as he takes in her rare smile. He doesn't move away, letting his dark gaze linger on her face with quiet warmth. A subtle, mischievous smirk twitches at the side of his lips as he inclines his head just an inch closer. ] " Besides, I've always been terrible at following common knowledge. Now ( ... ) don't tease me with a truth if you're not going to spill it. "
