Hey lovely readers and writers!
Yesterday, I stopped to offer a homeless person two euros. He was an old man, he was kind and really dirty and tired. I sat by his side. He talked to me about his life. He was a sailor. He made good money and he bought a house for him and his family- he had a wife and two sons. Shorty, his house burned down, with his family in it. Needless to say, he was depressed for a long time and lost all of his fortune- due to gambling I suppose. Now he is just a sixty- five year old man who sleeps in the park and he is desperately looking not for food, but for a person to notice him.
We are all human beings, when you feel hungry, someone else does too, when you are cold, someone else is too, when you feel the need to love and live, everyone does too. The only difference is that you can fulfill all those 'gaps' occured from those needs, whereas people who pray for a slice of bread, can't. We can do things. Stop and offer this person a coffee, a sandwich, a cupcake, a fruit. Keep all this food in surplus, put it in a paper towel, take a walk in your city and offer it to those people you see who sleep on the road. Above all, let's be good people everyone...
