I want to get the next chapter of AJTT out very badly, and it’s taking forever because it’s a big chapter, I can’t focus lately, and school and life are just being a pain(somewhat literally). Also, after this chapter, I’m going to take a week or two to write an addition to the book of shorts rather than(or if I have time, in addition to) another chapter of AJTT. I realized I have not done a January one yet, and I think I said I would aim for one a month. I think I am going to do whichever one was submitted to me first, but I still have to figure out which one that was. Anyways, I hope you all are doing okay!

Hey everyone! So I’m not quite ready to publish the next chapter of A Journey Towards Together, however, I am going to update the cover. It will still have the same title but it will look entirely different. I just spent probably 4 to 5 hours editing it together, so I do hope y’all like it! Let me know what you think!

I just realized it’s midnight and I have not posted a chapter. I’m really sorry, you guys. I promise I’ll try to have it out by the end of this week(Sunday). I’ve hit a bad spot of writer’s block, and while I know what I want to write for the next chapter, I can’t seem to actually put very many words on paper. Hopefully I can get out of this spot soon and get it done. Again, I’m really sorry, but I do hope you all had a safe, happy Halloween!

Hey guys! I promise I’m working on the next chapter of AJTT. I have about half of it done(and it’s gonna be a longer-ish chapter), but I really want to rewatch Black Panther before I finish it. It’s been a crazy busy few weeks(and still is) and this is my birthday weekend(I’m turning 18 on Sunday!). Besides the virtual party I’m trying to organize with my friends, my parents have planned two separate outings, one of which is a surprise(my brother said I should be excited, so I guess I am?), and I also have a ton of school work to do(including revisions on the huge essay that was the original reason I had to push the chapter back). There are other reasons as to why I haven’t gotten the chapter out yet, which I will explain when I do release the chapter, but I just wanted to let you guys know that I am making progress. I feel really, crazy bad that I haven’t been able to update, but I’m really hoping this won’t be what the rest of the year is like. If I can get past this essay and the SAT on the 23rd, I might be able to get back on a regular writing schedule where I can hopefully update once a week at least. I’m sorry, but I do hope you all are doing well and that you know how much your support means to me

Hey guys! So another update on AJTT... I’m honestly not sure what day I’ll be able to get out the next chapter. Following the devastating events of this weekend, I’ve decided to have the next chapter be a tribute to Chadwick Boseman, and because of that, it will take place in the future and not have much to do with the current place in the storyline. I’ll try my best to keep any spoilers to the plot out of the way when I write it. 
          
          I’m absolutely exhausted for more reasons than one, and I probably won’t get to write much today because of the sheer amount of work I need to do for school and my desperate need for sleep. I’ll try to get back to writing everyday tomorrow, and hopefully I’ll be able to have the next chapter out by the end of the week if not sooner. 
          
          I’m really sorry I don’t have a new chapter ready for you guys, but I promise to have a new one out by Sunday at the latest. Thanks for your patience

Hey guys! So I’m really sorry, but I may not be able to update until Sunday or even Monday or Tuesday. Due to unforeseen circumstances and lack of communication on the part of one of my teachers, I now have to complete a huge, important essay in about a week, and I’ve just barely started. I will probably still work on the next chapter as writing AJTT seems to be a good way for me to get away from everything for a bit, but because I expect it to be a longer one and I won’t have a lot of time to sit and reread it three or four times, edit it, and then post it like I normally do with chapters, it may take me a couple days more to actually get it out. Again I’m really sorry, but there’s not much I can do about the situation. I’m pretty sure the teacher isn’t willing to give us any extensions past the one he just gave us

Hey guys!! I’m so sorry about the notification saying I updated earlier. My little brother got his hands on my phone while I was working on the next chapter and he ended up publishing it(he’s only two, so he didn’t really know what he was doing. He just wanted to press buttons). Since it wasn’t finished, I had to unpublish the chapter, but I will try to have the next chapter out tonight or tomorrow
