Hello, everyone! This bitch is back!
          	
          	So, I updated my username and name. Instead of Kai, I now go by Oliver (Ollie). I made this decision a year back but never updated my profile. Surprise!
          	
          	I won't be updating the two fics I have already, Lupine Scars or You're Safe, as both of those are on Hiatus for the foreseeable future. I've written myself into a corner and I'm still trying to work around it and the triggers it's caused. I'm finally starting to get better mentally.
          	
          	I have been working on a new fic for the last year and I'm very proud of it so far. I personally think that my writing skills have grown since then, and I've found my voice. I will be posting chapters every Tuesday and Thursday (except for the first chapter) until I reach the last chapter I've written so far. Like I said, I've been working on this for a while, and I'm excited to get to share it with all of you!
          	
          	Until then, just know that I love all of you and I'm so thankful for the continuous support that you've given me!

Hey, loves. Updates are going to be a hell of a lot less frequent because my family is having a lot of issues (covid, divorce, etc.) and I'm just a bit caught up in real life at the moment. I will still be working on the chapters, they will just be finished a lot less soon than expected. I am not giving up on my fics, I'm just trying to find the time to actually write.

Hey, loves! Merry Christmas! 
          
          I have a few things to say. Number 1: I am so, so sorry for the lack of updates on both of my books. Life has been generally hectic and I'm also trying to get over writer's block while trying to find a balance of everything in my life. I've also been dealing with personal matters, but I'm working on it. 
          
          Number 2: Merry Christmas, again! How do you feel about Christmas? I personally am very anxious and stressed around Christmas (Christmas means spending time with my parents, spending time with my parents means talking to them, I have a hard time civilly communicating with them, you get the idea) but I'm also excited for presents and food. I didn't make dessert this year, which I usually do, but it should be fine.
          
          Number 3: If you don't celebrate Christmas, what holiday do you celebrate?

I know that this is really, really random to ask, but what is snow like?
          
          I mean, is it all amazing and soft and pretty like some books say or is it all sloshy and dirty? And can you actually make snowmen with it, like would it not just fall apart or melt immediately?
          
          I've personally never experienced snow. I live in south Louisiana in America, so winters and generally icy at best, but even that usually melts in the afternoon, even on the coldest days. I've only actually felt and seen (in real life) snow once before, when I was on a trip to Tennessee to visit some family. Even then, it was February so while there was some snow, it was mostly just frost.
          
          Another sort of random question about snow: Does it actually catch on tree branches like in the pictures? Or does it not just melt as soon as it hits it?

            From my experience with snow, I would know absolutely nothing since I've only seen snow twice and I only got to mess around with it for about an hour each time and they were both like a year apart and that was before covid happened. It's cold thought and it will soak your pants if you lay in it. Have a nice day/night, Ben 10.

I love this question, it's so genuine. There's lots of different types of snow. Here in the Netherlands we usually have "wet snow" it looks all white at first but it gets dirty really fast and sloshy all over the place, so everything's just brown and wet from mud. But when it stays cold for a few days the snow will build up layers, and stepping on untouched, fresh snow is the best feeling (and sound) in the world cuz it crunches delightfully under your feet. And as the other responder said, you need specific snow for snowmen and snowballs, because it needs to be sticky. When it's not we call it "powder snow" (in Dutch/English translation) because it won't stick together no matter how hard you try. That type of snow is great for sleighing. As soon as there's about a foot snow all the kids and parents in the neighborhood will go to the nearest little hill to sled. And the last thing is, it's really, really cold, (you know that already) but you desperately want to touch it with your bare hands bc it's so wonderful but it won't last for more than 5 seconds, as your hands are about to fall off from the pain and coldness. So gloves all the way!

            Snow is a big mix of everything you've ever heard about it. Sometimes, when it's snowing, it does collect on tree branches and the ground and it doesn't melt, so it's  one of the most beautiful things ever. And sometimes, yes, you can build snowmen, but it has to be the right type of snow in order to do snow. 
            It only ever gets really sloshy when it's more than like 30°f (at least where I'm from anyway). Most of the time it snows when it's around 20°f or below that. If u ever can, i'd say try to visit minnesota. it's fucking freezing up here all the time, which makes for great snow.
