I read The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah and finished it yesterday. This book made me feel so many emotions. It was unlike any other reading experience I've had. I spent the second half of it crying, and when I finished it, cried (and even sobbed) for a good hour or so.
I think it's the first book I've read that I can confidently say changed my life. It altered something in my mind, which can't be taken back.
Have any of you read it as well?

Hey guys. I want to let you all know that I’m taking a break from writing for about 7 days or so. I have someone visiting for a week so my time will be spent elsewhere. I also believe this break is necessary for me to refresh and get back on track.
Currently, I have the next chapter half written. Unfortunately, it won’t be finished or posted until after my break is over.
My goal is to finish this book before June 18. It’s an ambitious goal, but I’m going to work to achieve it.

As for the ending... I'll use three words to describe it: Unexpected, emotional, connective.
@bellybuttonbooks omg I only saw this now. I'm honestly scared of how the ending is gonna be because things aren't really the best with momo and ekko and it's almost finished anyway I hope you're okay, thank you for all the effort you put into the book, it's truly amazing and I'm sure so many people love it. You're an amazing writer (I think I've told you that a hundred times already, but it's true) and I'm always so excited to see more of your work, it's truly something else. Hey guys. I want to give you guys a quick update. I've been outlining the remaining chapters to 'The Sixth', and according to my outline, there are 12 chapters left for this book, along with an epilogue. This means this book will end on chapter 73 + the epilogue. I also have a bonus scene planned.

Hello everyone. I have a few things I want to talk about (kind of a rant/explanation).
It’s been over a week since I posted a chapter for The Sixth. This is because I’ve been struggling with my mental health. It’s an ongoing thing. Sometimes it gets too much and I have to take some time for myself. I love writing so much, and it’s helped me feel better during times of distress. However, during these mental health lows, motivation to do anything isn’t really there, and forcing myself to write would lead to lesser quality.
I try my best to respond to comments on my book, and I genuinely enjoy reading through the things my readers have to say. But this last week I’ve been inactive and haven’t been responding to them. I feel so bad and I’m hoping to read through them and catch up soon.
That being said, the next chapter is complete and ready to be posted. Unfortunately, there’s an ongoing issue right now with Wattpad that doesn’t allow authors to save their work or publish new parts. Therefore, the next chapter is just sitting there until the issue is resolved.
I also have a discord server for those of you that are interested. It allows me to better interact with my readers, and them to interact with each other.

@bellybuttonbooks you're an amazing writer and also an amazing person, if anything happens in your personal life don't be afraid to take a break! Everyone has their own problems and it's okay to take a time for yourself, it's even better that way. Hopefully wattpad will finally stop with these bugs (if they count as bugs) As long as you're okay, that's all that matters <3

I finished reading the Ekko book and I'm still trying to process everything that happened, but what I can say is that it's wonderful, the writing is amazing and the plot twists are the best istg my jaw dropped at least 5 times each chapter (°0°) I have to admit at some point I went back to that part Ekko was an asshole with Momo cause I love angst and it makes me feel something that is probably not good but I love the feeling and I'm almost sure that part is my favorite one, I love how Momo's character is still very relatable even if she went through things that are very unlikely to happen nowadays, and well Ekko ever after all that stuff he stays the same awesome character he is, I think even if you wrote him doing the most non-ekko thing in the world I'd still love it cause it's Ekko and yeah it's Ekko (╥﹏╥) I'm scared of what is going to happen next, I just hope they stay together, but after what happened in the last chapter I'm starting to think Momo is gonna have to take a lot of time to recover ಥ_ಥ hopefully Ekko will be patient enough, or will have time enough
@bellybuttonbooks I love how Ekko is written and you were able to depict it sooo well, I've noticed before that Ekko isn't a softie all the time and seeing it now on your book just makes it even more special, it makes me like Ekko even more ╥﹏╥ ♡ I'm looking forward to the next chapter but also don't worry much about updating with a lot of frequency, people have their own responsibilities and problems, just make sure to take of yourself and stay safe!! <3
@lilimpact Oh my goodness, you're the sweetest. Ekko is a complex character, even in Arcane. I've tried my best to study his personality based on the little screentime that he has. One thing I noticed was his inpatience in certain situations, and his bluntness. He was also shown to jump to conclusions, like when he assumed Vi might've been working for Silco or when he asked Powder in the alternate reality if she was the one who killed Vi. At the same time, he's a nurturing and generally a good person. Every character has flaws, and I decided to explore his negative traits in my story, even though it might be perceived as out of character for him. I think the next chapter might surprise readers... let's see lol. I'm working on it now, but I'm unsure when it'll get published because I have family visiting so most of my time is spent with them.
