@clovewritessometimes wait omg, the exact same thing happened to me! I went to watch it with a friend too and she said she liked it more than the original too. I was actually so confused, we debated for like a whole hour after that why it was or wasn't better than the original. I was actually concerned for her, cause like the first thing she said after the movie ended was that it was amazing while I on the other hand was practically drowning in disappointment and wallowing in my own misery. It also made me question if I just had my expectations set too high .

@clovewritessometimes I think you’re right about them not making Miguel's new character well, I think it was rushed and possibly just added in for the fans honestly. Like Robin has to be one of the most loved characters, only second to Fin because out of the ghost boys, we saw the most of him. And I feel like a lot of stuff for Tbp2 was just for the fans rather than the plot, like I gladly ate it up, but I need more than that. I need more growth and depth.  And it would have been amazing to see how Bruce’s death affected Amy and maybe learn more about the off-screen parts of the TBP universe. Also, I can't spell sometimes either , the amount of grammar mistakes I commit daily is insane.
