          but it was too late , kageyama had watched the upperclassmen slip & fall on the wet concrete sidewalk . for a moment all was silent from the raven haired male , before he began snickering lowly & turned into laughter , a smirk on his face . he did try to warn him , besides what idiot speed walks / runs after a rain shower ? apparently kuroo .

            he quirked an annoying smile at the upperclassmen , crossing his arms . his gaze filled with amusement , different from his normal complacent & neutral expression .
            well it was funny , if he didn't laugh
            it'd be a crime . the raven haired setter rolled his eyes before offering a hand to kuroo . 
            
            ❝ can't get up by yourself ? senioritis must be contagious,  better wash my hands after this . . ❞
            
            kageyama's slight jab at the elder males age was mostly joking 
            but partially sarcasm & him being 
            a bit of an ass . his brow raised upon seeing the others damp hair but he snickered noticing kuroos backside had gotten wet , he would say nothing for now & see how long
            it'd be till the other noticed . it had sorta looked like he wet his pants a bit but kageyama knew it was the rain .

@krsnmoon .      oi,   kageyama-kun!   don't  you  know  it's  rude  to  laugh  at  your  afflicted  upperclassman?
            
            [  how  embarrassing.  his  black  hair,  usually  pointed  and  rooster-like,  is  droopy  and  damp  due  to  the  rain.  kuroo  would  be  more  embarrassed  and  irritated,  though  when  he  hears  the  other  setter's  laugh  for  the  first  time,  he  blinks  owlishly.  it's  not  at  all  feigned  nor  loud  like  his;  it's  a  quiet  and  subtle  one,  but  nonetheless,   a  nice  one  to  hear.  kuroo  smiles  cheekily.  ]
            
            ha,  ha,  hilarious.  help  me  up,  won't  you?  i  am  but  a  senior...   my  spine  is  too  fragile  for  the  hard,  wet  surfaces  of  concrete.

          the raven haired male pointed down to the elders shoelaces . he was dressed in more casual wear as it was a weekend & somehow he found himself around kuroo again . was this guy following him or what ? nope , pure coincidence . kageyama rubbed the back of his head before inclined it in the direction they were to be walking . 
          
          ❝  lets get to the convenience store , 
          i don't wanna be the last one to arrive . so don't have me lagging behind . ❞

            the underclassmen hummed in thought , deciding on the item he was to purchase at the convenience store . originally it was just to be to pick up a couple of his favorite brand of milk drink but now that he allowed himself to fully decide . .

            ramen packets for home . ❞
            
            the crow setter of karasuno didn't 
            get ramen often , only for days when he'd study & didn't care to prep meals . the sweet bun also wasn't going to be for him , he reminded himself it was hinata's favorite 
            or at least one of many of his favorites . he walked past kuroo 
            seeing as his shoe had to have
             been tied by now . he was eager 
            to get in & out before they got 
            too busy or his favorite brands 
            were sold out .

            [  he  quickly  fixes  his  shoes,  remaining  unperturbed  and  amused  despite  his  minor  predicament.  kuroo  didn't  expect  to  encounter  the  raven-haired  setter  once  again,  but  he  found  it  to  be  a  pleasant  coincidence.  while  his  earlier  conversations  with  kageyama  were  mildly  superficial,  kuroo  found  himself  quite  comfortable  in  the  other's  presence,  despite  the  other's  blunt  demeanor.  ]
            
            ooh,  the  convenience  store?  cool!  [  a  twinkle  appears  in  his  cat-like  irises,  like  the  cat  who  had  just  caught  the  cream.  ]  i've  been  dying  to  try  the  new  milk  tea  flavor  they  have.  what'cha  going  to  get?

[  he  snickers   lightly   at   the  slight  jab  to  his  arm.  ]   oh?   i'm   beginning   to   understand   the   origins   of   this   "all   star"   nickname.   oh,   but   what   a    shame;   i   was   hoping   to   see   you   on   the   court,   at   least.  [  he  winks   playfully,   though   it's   difficult   to   tell,   considering   the   fact   that   his  bed-head   conceals   his   other   eye.  ]

@motenyis .      why,   i'm   merely   an   innocent   bystander,   of   course!   inarizaki's    going   against   fukurodani,   and   my   bro   bokuto   told   me   to   drop   by   and   cheer   for   him.  [  he   playfully   leans   closer,   cupping   the   side  of   his   mouth  as  if  to  tell  a  secret,  ]   in   actuality,  i'm   cheering   for   you   guys  just   to   mess  and   tease   him  a   little.

kageyama rolled his eyes at the cat faced male from nekoma high . he could feel annoyance creeping up the back of his neck . why did kuroo come to bother him , didn't he have other things to do ? like practice with his team !

          being more introverted personality wise , he struggled to deal with others who held more energy than him . kuroo tetsuro fit widely in that category . hinata just happened to be an exception , the sunshiney male had worn him down somehow . for others it'd be a lot more difficult , especially opposing schools / teams .

            kageyama seems to regain himself , the once slightly far off gaze disappearing & being replaced with his regular cooling gaze . he turned to the vending machine , slightly tuning in & out on what kuroo said . he placed in his proper amount of cash & clicked the opposing button for the beverage he desired . he seemed to note in his mind what kuroo said about kenma . the raven haired teen knew once he told hinata this , the boy would get hyper active & practically demand another match . he shook his head to himself , leaning to grab the milk cartoon , 
            
            ❝  you guys always manage to keep the matches interesting , energy and all . hinata would mostly likely say the same but i feel he's that way with every school we play . ❞
            
            tobio inwardly rolled his eyes at just the thought but quirked a smile . the captain wasn't all bad it seems , even if he could be a bit of an annoying ass sometimes . maybe kageyama would butt heads with him less , that was if the other would stop the fake peppy annoying energy he did to piss him off on purpose . he picked up the cartoon and stood straight , turning to face kuroo . 
            
            ❝ if i bring this up to hinata , he'll probably ask for a match away from school . and just so you know this isn't me asking for a match , im just saying because it'll probably come up soon . . ❞
            
            well he definetly wouldn't mind a match against nekoma again . or rubbing another win into the captains face , his lips formed a firm line as he attempted not to grin deviously at the thought .

[  kuroo  blinks  owlishly,  his  gaze  subtly  observing  kageyama's  facial  expression.  huh,  he's  / smiling. /  it  doesn't  compute  ...  until  it  does.  an  inaudible,  amused  huff  escapes  from  his  nostrils,  but  he  manages  to  stifle  a  smirk  after  all.  so,  the  setter's  fond  of  chibi-chan?   that's  sort  of  endearing,  actually.  but  for  the  sake  of  their  finally  "pleasant"  (in  quotations,  for  it's  still quite  tense)  conversation,   kuroo  decides  not  to  tease  him  about  it.  ]
            
            pfft.  well,   that's  hinata  for  'ya.  he's  always   been   sort   of   a   "wow"  factor.  both  of   you,   actually.  [  he  scratches  the  back  of  his  neck  in  thought.  ]  kenma's  always—  well,   when   i  say  always  with  kenma,  it  really  means  once  or  twice,  but  that's  practically  an  "always"  for  him—  talks  about  how  he  looks  forward  to  playing  against  you  two.  and,  / trust /  me,  he  does  / not /  say  such  things  often.

            a thoughtful look came upon the males eyes at the inquiry about the short , energetic , orange haired male .  he let out a slight ' hmph ' sound , before giving in & replying . 
            it's not as if he was giving away a trade secret , he'd just keep it short .

            a smile threatened to take over the raven haired setters lips at the thought . it didn't matter how often they'd bicker , he still did care greatly for hinata . probably more than he'd say & definetly not something he'd tell kuroo . a hint of endearment passed in his eyes as he seemed to recall hinata's strongest moments in his mind .
