Ik that not a lot of people tend to do this, but I really wanted to give my opinion about the fairies of the black circle fanfic here.
(I will not be making fun of it or anything, this are just things that I think)
The book, is needlessly heavy, a lot of part that should be interesting, or funny end up being boring bc of this.
Some descriptions are confusing as well as the purpose of this fanfic, what is it? A reewritte of season 4? An Altern Universe? A what if? I dont get it
The fact that the characters have their original personality in the first chapters just makes this whole thing feel forced.
What you guys want to make us feel with this book is confussing as well. In some parts where anyone is in danger, theyre about to get killed or something, specially at the start, it feels more like the person whos about to die is about to be a victim of...something else I dont wanna writte in here.
Speaking about the start, that part of the wizards killing? capturing? those fairies should be in a prologe, not in the first episode.
Now I dont get the genre of this book, is it supposed to be dark romance or some thing like that?-
How the ships are haddled is insane, and not in a very good way. Every interaction with the wizards feels forced, unconfortable and unnatural.
Now, the ships themselves. Those ships are, in my opinion, disgusting and the way they tried to make them work in here feels so awkard...
And the fact that this book is supposed to be about Winx, but it has the Euphoria sindrome. When someone thinks about winx the first thing that comes to your mind is magic, friendship, not...violence, sa, etc.
And the fact that you guys apparently like the Wizards, and yet theres nothing about them in the book, their personalities, the way they think and talk, everything has been changed completely, there's literally nothing left of them in this book. It just feels like you guys grabbed just the design. Not the character.
This is not hate, its my opinion.
