… why are people requesting/wanting to write an obsession nikki/male!nikki x reader that is genuinely so fucking creepy? did we watch the same movie? i get liking horror characters and i personally dont find an issue with some but are you seriously suggesting a book where the character likes you against their will? lmao. be so fucking serious.
          	i can only understand this if its an au where its outside the movie—nikki herself was a loveable character, i understand. but the requests are under an author that has explicitly really written following movie plots. 
          	please think about your actions before committing to them—really think.

@cocobirdi and yes bro there could be exceptions like with my pookie dookie who made a oc x reader based off obsession but there was a twist in the story like they changed things abt the plot like yes that shi is okay and yes if you want to see a ship you like in the plot of obsession than write if like that bro but don’t romanticize yourself being exactly like bear and do the same shi bro

@AllukaYaio @AllukaYaio THANK YOU FHANK YOU this is why youve BEEN one of my favorite moots ;v;. i feel so disgusted whenever i see it mentioned—and its so upsetting because i saw it a comment about being convinced to read it by an author i really love :(
          	  obsession is a great story on its own and i would understand making a book under the same pretense because i am personally a fan of seeing other fandom characters with the plot (jackieshauna, sonamy, etc) but its a completely different thing to write it with the sole intention because you wanna input “yourself” (in that (your/name) sense) as the bad guy in that. youre romanticizing it and its disgusting. dark romance or not, just straight up EUGH!!!

i wish there was a pre-existing discord server for x reader wattpad writers to discuss books, ideas, and stuff! itd be a great way to create community and garner one for smaller writers (like myself :)) !!!!

          i dont have much preference to read but tend to lend more into second person when i write along with third person!!! would that ward anyone off from reading my books? does it take you out from that (y/n) world if it isnt first person? first person appears to be the most popular pov in the x reader world… please share your genuine thoughts!!!

I prefer Third Person POV. It makes it much easier than switching from different point of views.
