I’m taking down my fanfics. In response to Dan Howell’s most recent video, I’ve decided that I can’t morally keep up any of my fan fictions that feature, and especially ship, real people. I’m sorry to those who liked my stories but I’m sure that in honor of Pride month, we can all understand how these types of ships can be damaging to the actual people and their real relationships. I hope that the people I’ve written about know that I’m sorry for any possible distress I could have added to. I think it’s for the best that we all decide to take down our current fan fictions about real people, or at least stop creating them. Let’s keep the fan-FICTION to FICTIONAL people. That’s not to say that I’m not grateful for the support I’ve gotten on my writing, but I think this is the respectful and mature thing to do.
