          lol.  I wasn't passing judgement.  Heck, I finished 2 more chapters over lunch.  :). I'm thinking about recommending your story to a friend who teaches high school since it's somewhat germane to the relatively new "common core" here in the US.  While she's not being replaced by a machine - there's some thematic resonance in "retooling under pressure" in response to the changing landscape.  :)

          my pleasure.  it's been a good.read so far.  the only thing that seemed odd was the lack.of a severance package for the terminated teacher.  but maybe things are different.in.Canada,.or the future?
