@cokegods,    [he doesn’t have the heart to tell him why just yet—and it hurts.  over the past few weeks—perhaps months—nathaniel had found a true,  genuine friend in him.  it was nice,      refreshing to have someone that wasn’t from this place—it was enough to remind him of home.     that was why he couldn’t stay here,  not with how the winds were changing, the trumpet of war dancing on the clear waves. spoiling like raw meat beneath summer’s sun]   i──[voice cracks and violet eyes dart away.  in this world,        small dragons with magical flames was how they got their messages around.   he wasn’t sure how that could work from one realm to the next,]    i will find a way, you have my word..
