OH MY GOD IF U EVER WRITE DEAF FICTION PLEASE DO RESEARCH AND STUDY THE WHOLE CULTURE. I am hearing and learning asl so no I'm not an expert but it is so irritating seeing people call a cochlear implant a hearing aid or for a deaf character to get one as if them being deaf makes them less. It's just a little more effort. Dont treat deaf or hard of hearing people differently, people are people. Also dont call them hearing impaired. That implies something is wrong. As hearing people we think hearing impaired is politically correct when it's not culturally appropriate. Please study deaf culture before writing deaf fiction. Pls '_'
