ACT II, PART TWO.
ㅤㅤ ㅤㅤㅤ ㅤ the planet as auhines was .. strange. she had thought it a good place to relax, though she had not wanted to. ㅤㅤ ㅤ [..] jiāyǐng quickly found that this place was the sort to ignore a cult while it sacrificed its children. she was supposed to be here on vacation, but she could not bare to be a bystander ─── brandishing shadowmoon, she went to where the cultists were hiding, slaughtering them all before she broke down the door where the children should have been. most of them had not made it, but one. a boy with light blue hair, crying and sobbing as he struggled to come to terms with things. [..] she had approached slowly, but he seemed to stop crying as he peered up at her. her eyes met his. he was no older than ten, but she managed to lift him into her arms anyway, taking him to safety. jiāyǐng was going to just leave him there, but he had refused to leave her side. so the captain had decided to take him with her.

the rumors of the distant cloud knight captain taking in a short lifed boy reached the ears of the luofu sooner than she would have liked. but she ignored them, in favor of making sure the boy was settled in. -- he did not have a name, they did not give him one. so jiāyǐng had gave him one. she named him jianyu.
