rereading storm & silence n i sincerely hope ambrose ends up respecting women n acknowledging them as equals. bc only respecting the women u like ≠ respecting women. and i REALLY want to like ambrose as a character but i rly cant bring myself to do so if he doesnt LEARN to respect women

@SSbooklover ig its understandable, considering the era hes in, i wrote all this down while i was absolutely furious w him for doing tht whole speech n forcing lilly to go up and do a speech too (although ik he did it to try and make lilly quit) nd i didnt rly think abt the circumstances hhh (and also sadly, i dont use radish so i couldnt possibly see what sir rob answers on there)

@collision- in the era ambrose is living in, compared to men women are painted to be meek, docile and subservient. For ambrose who has been brought up in this stereotype respecting women is a foreign notion. Yet he does so because of the hardships he has faced it has trained him to recognise resilience. Sir Rob has answered one such question in one of his Radish updates...
