What's with all these werewolf stories nowadays?? Like the main girl is always a tough girl who hates makeup and anything girly with a listen-to-nobody-and-do-whatever-the-hell-I-want-to-do-when-I-want-to-do-it attitude with a best friend who is girly and bubbly and forced her to look nice. Why can't you be girly AND tough? Like I get that authors are gonna write stories how ever they want to but do you know how frustrating it is to get the SAME kind of girl every time you want to read a book? Like so many people, even other WOMEN, associate anything feminine with weakness. Just because a girl wears lipstick and takes the extra time to curl her hair doesn't mean she can't kick your ass. Femininity doesn't mean weak. I'm tired of girls thinking they have to wear spikes and boycott covergirl to be taken seriously. What your preferences are have nothing to do with your strength or intelligence. Why is it always the more feminine girl who wants to find her mate and get married? Why can't there be stories where the ""tomboy"" wants nothing more then to find hers and settle down?? WHATS WITH THESE ROLES?? I don't understand why as girls we're considered weak for spending extra money on clothes, or taking 30 minutes to do our makeup. Hell, we can push A SMALL HUMAN OUT OF A HOLE THE SIZE IF A DIME AND LIVE THROUGH IT! ALL WOMAN ARE TOUGH! Ugh. Rant over.
