I'm a South African woman based in the USA. I have an interesting background and attended an elite catholic private high school in my country. I came to the USA in 2015 and lived in New York City, then Washington DC and currently the Midwest. I love travelling and have been to over 20 states in the USA. When I first started school my mom was a teacher and encouraged me to read a lot which really helped me be a top student. By 3rd grade I started writing fiction and haven't looked back since! My desire is to present diversity in my character leads. As a woman of color, it can be disheartening to constantly read all these great stories that never have meaty character leads of color. Therefore representation is a big part of my writing and I hope you give me chance. I also applaud what shows like Jane the Virgin, Scandal, 13 Reasons Why, Ugly Betty, Nikita and Being Mary Jane for doing an exceptional job creating amazing diverse character leads. Diversity to me
 means  characters of different racial, cultural, ethnic and gender backgrounds because that's a true representation of our world.
