hey kind of important announcement i guess
          	
          	i'm gonna be going on hiatus for a multitude and, as such, so will starlit samsara
          	
          	a lot of it has to do with a really big increase in extracurriculars and schoolwork but also just motivation and interest in general. truth be told I've not really been interested in tally hall or hpii since december 2021 and i only really continued because i felt really connected to my ocs and tallypad was just a lot different this time last year.
          	
          	now i just don't feel as strong of a connection with my ocs along with tallypad (especially since 2 of the people i used to interact with on here the most have basically quit and tallyshippers have taken over) and it's just really difficult to write something i'm personally satisfied. i get that it's not that serious (it is only a fanfiction!) but like i said before. i just don't really have the drive at the minute to carry on writing, even if it's completely unrelated to tally hall or hpii or anything really!!
          	
          	i'm sorry about this. i might start being more active again in july since that's when i finish college and i'll have more time to just. relax i guess. but until then i don't see myself really working a lot on the chapters or posting on here. if you wanna add me on twitter i have 2 accounts!! the more active one that does not tweet anything related to starlit samsara (i usually tweet about prsk, terraria, shining nikki and music stuff) is @/MEPHISTOPILLED. if you wanna add my twitter account for hpii stuff it's @/ST3LLA0CTANGULA i think, and my instagram for yet-to-be-published pixel art stuff is @/connectedrainbows.
          	
          	and last of all, thank you to everyone who's supported me and read starlit samsara!! i appreciate all the support i've received over the years, i don't really know how else to say it. interacting with you all has been fun and will hopefully be fun again if i get back motivation to write again!! if i'm not active on here again, i'm glad i met you all!! thank you once again!!

also another important note: stellaoctangula and connected rainbows insta acc are both on private at the minute. I'll accept anyone who sends a follow request to them though!!

heyy so i’m just gonna temporarily unpublish and rewrite some parts of joachim’s birthday chapter because it feels kind of. clumsily written. not a surprise since i wrote it like almost 2 years ago now but i just feel like i could make it less goofy considering some of the content in it.

how am i supposed to make art of my ocs when i can’t get the anatomy right!!!!!!!! pixel art is so aggravating sometimes. 
            
            i have tried the “scribble out a rough shape and then use the eraser tool to clean it up” but unless i use different colours for every limb (which is very annoying and not worth the effort) it just doesn’t work for me and i end up confused… and also it looks bad when i try and do a front facing thing. it only really works on more dynamic poses and environment/perspective drawings which i’m already pretty decent at since i did a whole 12 week unit on it in “middle school”. we never did any anatomy though for some reason. always baffled me

listen i’ve learnt a lot about anatomy from the line of action website and i’m basically fine with colour palettes which some people seem to struggle with but trying to translate anatomy and make it look good on a small canvas is such a struggle. it’s not even the lack of space i struggle with it’s the fact i can’t do it and make it look good. maybe i should start drawing it on paper first

i have two moods and only two moods whilst listening to any of the caretaker albums:
          
          • “wow this is so relaxing and liminal space pilled time to read/write !!” 
          
          • “oh my god i feel like i’m going to throw up i have a massive headache my eyes won’t focus and i’m hyper aware of my breathing and if i could feel fear as intensely as other people do i would likely be having some kind of panic attack. time to read/write !!”

should i do an updated voice claims. the old ones are kinda inaccurate because they’re all the en voices and i feel like a more accurate version is needed even if they aren’t all in english (eg. kamuela’s voice is more similar to kokichi’s japanese dub in my head not his en dub, healani’s voice is much closer to another character’s that isn’t dubbed in english… so on and so forth)
