It's official: the IOC has juat banned Russia from Pyeongchang 2018. Individual athletes may compete, but they will do so under the name "Olympic Athletes from Russia (OAR)". They cannot bear Russian symbols in competition and the Russian national anthem will not be played in ceremonies.
