A tip that I got from my teacher is that you should make a “story line” and put things like “main characters introduced” at the start of the story or wherever you want them to be introduced and so on. That makes it easier to write having something to go off of. You can also always write whatever comes to mind and the re read it to see if there’s anything you wanna change, either way if u chose to write it it will probably be really good :)
