one cultural divide thats kinda annoying is that in america its like if u still live with your parents past the age of like 24 or smth you will be shunned and ostracized by society, but in egypt its very normal to stay with your parents until you get married so you can be like in your 30s and still stay with your parents, and even then sometimes the family you have with your spouse will move in with u so its one big crazy ass house. i'm american born and raised obvi but my parents are egyptian so while i was taught that u gotta get tf outta there before you reach 30, my parents are vehemently against the idea of me moving out...so what now
