Since age thirteen, when I began writing my first novel, I have been a consummate reader and author of speculative fiction (science fiction and fantasy), both young adult and adult.  I have been writing in a variety of ways ever since, for the last two decades.  I've had the opportunity to work on a Calvin and Hobbes style comics on an online comic site, and I have been a part of the writing.com community in the past as well.  However, Wattpad is my first serious foray on the road towards wanting to see my worlds, characters, and ideas enjoyed and read by the world at large.  I would be lying to say I do not need money, we all do to some extent, but what I want more than anything is to bring my writing to life in the minds and hearts of as many as wish to enjoy it.

I enjoy writing epic fantasy and science fiction that crosses genre boundaries.  I have been inspired by the greats like Robert Jordan, Anne McAffrey, and Brandon Sanderson - and I quite enjoy listening to the podcast "Writing Excuses" (involving Sanderson).  I have written a few short stories, but novel-length stories and world building are truly my passion.  I often enjoy doing science fiction that creates a vision of where things could go, and pushes the boundaries of what is possible.  I write the kind of stories that I would like to read - and I feel, as a result, they are more likely to be the kind of stories you would, too.
