Guys, I've been on a heavy hiatus due to rewriting playdate, and on top of that my city is suffering heavily right now due to the wildfires. Updates are still going to be slow, but I thought I'd leave you at least with this little snippet of Playdate.
“These lights are actually really good, I have these, and they have built in sound systems-” She turns to look at the boy, but his mind seems to be focused on the couple behind them, more specifically, the way Junior’s hand holds onto Lexy.
Oliver turns back to look at Alix. “Oh sorry, you were saying.” He goes back to looking at the computer.
Alixandra isn’t dumb. She notices the way he stares at the blond. She looks in between the pair, taking a glance over at Junior, who turns, feeling her gaze.
By the time his head turns, she had already begun talking to Oliver.
Her tone lowers so he can hear her. “Look, I don't know if you’ve done something with her but if you’re gonna be into the girl, at least have the balls to tell your best friend who’s dating her.” She turns back to the computer, adding the lights into his cart, and continuing to scroll.
