            / that’s got me thinking , i thought about liliana having the ability to turn into a fox or a sorta ‘swan lake’ vibe where she was cursed by the evil king and turns into a fox at randomly (perhaps mainly at night)

*     she can communicate with other corvids and command some of them but her connection isn’t as strong as it is to crows specifically

 ⠀⠀⠀⠀ [ aylin doesn’t add more distance when the other witch takes her steps forward, doesn’t even take a step back when mati ends up right in front of her. it’s when her hand, so warm and so her comes to touch her skin that aylin puts distance between them. the action is weak, like she doesn’t want to do it but she has to. as her foot comes into contact with the sword, the screeching sound of it sliding against the marble is painful, but it is more bearable than this moment and the way that mati looks at her. ]
             ⠀⠀⠀⠀ she didn’t want me or love me, mati. she left me in these woods to DIE, and he saved me. he told me that, and he… he doesn’t lie.   [ even as the words fall from aylin’s lips, she’s not sure if it’s true. the woman standing before her loved her, and had shown it more than the moon god did. she had felt it, but she cannot abandon the man who saved her. he demands her faith. ]   you say he isn’t who i think he is. do you even have proof to support your claim?

            ⠀ ⠀ [  she eyed the sword,  she knew aylin would never point it at her  —  she wouldn’t dare,  whether it was because she loved her or knew a simple sword was no match for mati.  though,  the sight of her clutching it made her heart race.  when aylin stood,  mati took slowly steps towards her love,  not out of fear of her but weary of the god who watches from above.  ]    
            ⠀ ⠀ why  do  you  think  your  mother  left  you  to  die,  aylin  ?  because  she  did  not  love  you  or  want  you  ?    [  by  the  time  she’s  done  talking,  mati  stands  in  front  of  aylin,  a  hand  cupping  her  cheek.  ]    yes,  a  god  can  save  you  but  maybe  you  should  ask  why  you  needed  to  be  saved  in  the  first  place. 

[ the witch’s finger curls around the silver sword that laid on the cracked marble floors of the abandoned temple, the very same one that she had spent most of her life in. her head is low, chin pressing into the fabric of her sweater as she chews on the inside of her lower lip. she loves mati, perhaps more than anything, but this was about her god—- the only one that truly knew every part her. with a shaky breath, she relieves the pressure on her knees to stand, but she leaves the sword on the floor. ]   he was the one who saved me, mati. i owe him every breathe that i take, every beat of my heart, every single day on this earth. what is he, if not a god who took pity on a mortal whose mother left her to DIE?

well… we have something called ‘moon rocks’ that i find to be quite delicious, but i don’t think that they are actually rocks from the moon. i suppose i do not really know though, given how little i actually eat. as it so happens, ascension seems to come with some side effects, and not needing very much sustenance is one of them!

            ⠀ ⠀ [  mati can’t help the smile that blooms on her face at the boy’s words.  she crouches down to his level holding out her hand.  what looks like shadows appear in her palm,  forming an orb.  ]  a  magician  of  sorts  but,  i  prefer  witch.  i  can  do  a  lot  things.  [  the shadow orb forms into a rabbit,  hopping in place before it hops towards him and circles him.  ]
