Guys, guys, guys, HEAR ME OUT!!! What if the mc didn’t die of bad luck or coincidence but something or someone sent her to genshin impact. And looking into the other au we can see that she holds important roles in other universes too ( take HI3rd for example where she is the captain of Hyperion). It is almost as if she is destined for greatness and don’t even get me starting on all that foreshadowing where she keeps being seen as the salvation for the abyss or repeatedly being told that she will take over both the abyss and the world(teyvat). And we all know when a someone dies their soul simply heads to the afterlife and that’s it BUT NO! NO NO NOOOO, her soul not only survived but also crossed through entire dimensions all the way to a whole other reality and the soul stayed INTACT despite all of THAT!? There must have definitely been some outside interference and I’ve been thinking that it’s something like this:

@SarahGader6 great theory! you're definitely on the right track. part of mc being brought into teyvat was a sense of 'lol, poor human' alongside a more serious purpose
@SarahGader6 one thing I‘ve been thinking about is that it has been confirmed that the mc‘s body belongs to the world of Teyat, but not her Soul. Yet despite that her body Looks strikingly similar to her old one. So did she decide the way her body looks with the strength of her Soul or did whoever placed her into the world of Teyat decide to create a body mimicing her old one, maybe as a form of comfort to present an Identity Crisis?
