existential: is anything really the way we think it is? what if every person’s perception of the world regarding basic senses is totally different?
affirmation: i know that we’ve all been taught to be brave, all of the time. to push through hard times. to make the choice you fear in order to further a greater cause. but the truth of it is that you can’t always make the “brave choice”. sometimes you have to fall back and be a little selfish, because whats the point in starting a fight if there’s no one around to finish it? my point is: fight for you first. then you can worry about them. once your survival is guaranteed.
